Firstly, sorry for my english - it is very bad, i hope you can understand my declarations...
You have the following issue:
- Domino 6 oder 6.0.1
- A browser (ie) try to access the domino server over ssl
- you received the message: "The page cannot be displayed"
- Domino Server Log Message: 14.03.2003 15:09:27 HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, IP address [193.108.232.46], Keyring [keyring.kyr], [SSL Error: Network IO error], code [4165]
- you think: "oh shit, my domino Server is wrong configurated..."
Problem:
The problem is, that the browser has a not-supportet "Cipher Streng".
--> look in the browser in menu "Help", then "About internet explorer". The second line is - for example "Cipher Streng: 0-bit". What happen when a client with this config connect a server?
Client: Try to connect
Server: Hey, client, how strong cipher can we talk together?
Client: ... 0-bit
Server: Oh, no thanks --> HTTP Server: SSL handshake failure, IP address [193.108.232.46], Keyring [keyring.kyr], [SSL Error: Network IO error], code [4165]
Solution:
In this cases i've reinstalled the internet explorer & it works. This is a problem I have only seen on Internet Explorers...
